Design with NEN norms

In the design phase, account is taken of the compliance of the user space with multiple NEN standards (unless the customer wishes otherwise).

NEN 1824:2010 - NEN1824 specifies the arbonorm for the surface of workspaces. Circulation space, movement space, escape routes and partitions are installed in accordance with this standard.

EN527 is used when presenting desks. This standard specifies the safety, strength and durability requirements for work desks.

The NPR1813 standard is an addition to the NEN EN724 (which concerns medical devices). This standard describes a sit-stand desk based on the average height of a European.

Escape route signs are specified in NEN-EN-ISO 7010:2020 and fire safety NEN4001+C 1:2008 nl described. This is not a specific design aspect (as the property owner often took this into account), but Mirato's Build branch does take this into account.
